Gem State Staffing-Caldwell is now hiring for that big beautiful potato processing plant in Ontario, OR... you know the one. These temp-to-hire positions are full-time, year round plant positions. Our next round of new hires will begin working on July 24th!

QA Auditor - Responsible for quality checks, investigates customer complaints and recommends corrective action, promotes and maintains company GMPs, manages operator and tech proficiency program. Lot's of documentation required, better than average PC skills needed. 2yrs exp as QA desired.

General Labor - Responsible for a multitude of tasks within several departments. This utility type position provides an excellent opportunity to do different types of work within the same facility.

Forklift Operators - Operators must have a valid drivers license for consideration. Forklift operators are utilized in several areas of the plant.

Raw Receiving - these positions work in the area of the plant where the potatoes come in to the factory. Duties include, removing foreign material, storing product, control flows, collecting samples, sanitation etc.

Packaging Machine Operators - machine operators require additional testing. These positions will require experience as a machine operator.

Requirements

• Must be looking for full-time work schedule
• Physically active work history
• Pre-employment drug screen and criminal background investigation
• Current Drivers License (Forklift Operators only)
• Adhere to strict Food Safety standards - no jewelry, piercings, fake nails, fake eyelashes, etc inside the plant
• Must read and write English
• Must be smoke and vape free, no smoking or vaping allowed on property.

Details

• Night Shift 6pm-6am $19.00/hr
• 30 working day temp-to-hire contract
• Weekly payroll, every Friday for last weeks hours
• Overtime paid for hours worked after 10 each shift. (which is awesome because all the shifts are 12 hrs)
