Gem State Staffing in Nampa is seeking candidates for a local Metal Fabrication shop. Qualified individuals will need to have experience in metal fabrication and machine operating. This is an excellent opportunity for people looking for long-term employment.
Job Responsibilities:
Candidates will be responsible but not limited to: setting up machines for the correct processes, feeding raw materials in the machinery while monitoring and controlling the machine(s) performance. Inspecting product for quality assurance along with fixing any minor issues or malfunctions that may occur. Candidates must follow all relevant safety procedures and protocols and work directly with line supervisors and manager.
Schedule & Compensation:
Day shift: Monday – Friday 5:00am-7:00am typical start time
Wage: $17.50/hr with a $1.00 raise after a short probationary period

I’ve been working with Gem State Staffing since August of 2011. I got my start in our Twin Falls office and have worked in Nampa, Pocatello and Boise since then. In 10plus years at these locations I’ve worked as a Customer Service Representative, Assistant Manager, and Manager. I specialize in recruiting, onboarding, payroll, employee management among other things. When I’m not at work, I enjoy hanging out with friends, board games, and taking in Boise’s beautiful wild life and landscape with hikes and nature walks. I am a self-proclaimed foodie and a big music and movie connoisseur. My continuing goal is to soon obtain my own store in the Treasure Valley area so I may expand my growth, together with Gem State Staffing.
