Job Overview
Gem State Staffing-Caldwell- is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer and Marketing Coordinator. This role encompasses designing marketing collateral and engaging digital content, while supporting broader marketing initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this position requires strong graphic design skills, proficiency in design software, and the ability to translate marketing objectives into compelling visuals.

**This is a part-time job with a schedule of 20 hours per week**

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce on-brand marketing materials including brochures, catalogs, specification sheets, presentations, flyers, trade show graphics, and advertisements (print & digital).
  • Create engaging digital content such as social media graphics, website banners,
  • email templates, and infographics, one-page educational flyers, catalogs, etc.
  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines for consistent visual identity.
  • Collaborate with the team to understand marketing objectives and translate them into effective designs.
  • Provide design support for marketing campaigns and events.
  • Contribute to digital marketing efforts across social media, email, and online advertising (focus on visual elements).
  • Assist with event planning, providing design support for promotional materials.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Engineering, Quality, R&D) to align on marketing initiatives and gather information for design projects.
  • Support 3rd party Marketing Agency efforts, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Assist the Sales Team with website updates, including visual content.
  • Manage and organize design files and assets.
  • Stay updated on design and marketing industry trends.

Qualifications

  • Proven graphic design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing marketing and advertising materials.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva.
  • Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
  • Experience designing for print and digital platforms.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media platforms (Google Analytics a plus).
  • Experience with WordPress and product photography is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative design ideas.
  • Ability to understand technical product attributes and create clear visual representations.
  • On-site position with potential flexibility for student schedules.

Details

  • Schedule: Flexible 20 hours Monday-Friday anytime between 8am-5pm.
  • Pay Rate: $18.00/hr-$26.00/hr DOE
  • This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, and the part-time schedule will remain consistent.
