Job Description

 Gem State Staffing is now recruiting hard working and reliable individuals to fill various manufacturing positions for a well established local production company in Twin Falls.

Available Positions:

  • CNC Setup for Mill (Salary DOE/1st & 2nd Shifts): Will performs setups and operates CNC machinery with single and/or multiple spindles in a safe manner. Monitors and controls the quality of machining processes by utilizing process control tools such as control charts and statistical process controls. Consistently follows processes and schedules independently, with periodic interaction with manager and others while following our core values of maintaining relationships in a team environment modeling professionalism, interpersonal skills, problem solving, adaptability, and personal value commitment. 
  • 4-Slide Setup/Operator – Full Time, Part Time, Flexible Schedule (Salary DOE): Skilled machinist that is eager to demonstrate and enhance their skills in a precision manufacturing environment. The 4-Slide Setup/Operator performs setups, monitors and runs 4-slide and Auto-Clip machines with tooling and material appropriate to the work order while using precision tools to ensure accuracy. Changes coils and performs routine machine maintenance while monitoring quality and inspecting products as required.
  • Multi-Spindle Screw Machine – Quote & Layout (Starts at $18/hr.): Setup and operate multiple spindle automatics performing intricate tooling and cams, selecting speeds and feeds, maintaining close tolerances.
  • CNC Senior Programmer:- Will program CNC lathes and mills utilizing Mastercam for new products, fixtures, and tooling. Consistently follows processes and schedules independently, with periodic interaction with manager and others while following our core values of maintaining relationships in a team environment modeling professionalism, interpersonal skills, problem solving, adaptability, and personal value commitment. 

 

  • CNC Lathe Operator - 1st & 2nd Shifts:  Will operate one or more machines, make operational adjustments, and perform machine, tooling, and parts inspections. Consistently follows processes and schedules independently, with periodic interaction with manager and others while following our core values of maintaining relationships in a team environment modeling professionalism, interpersonal skills, problem solving, adaptability, and personal value commitment. 

 

  • CNC Setup for Lathe - 1st & 2nd Shifts ($DOE): Performs setups and operates CNC machinery with single and/or multiple spindles in a safe manner. Monitors and controls the quality of machining processes by utilizing process control tools such as control charts and statistical process controls. Consistently follows processes and schedules independently, with periodic interaction with manager and others while following our core values of maintaining relationships in a team environment modeling professionalism, interpersonal skills, problem solving, adaptability, and personal value commitment.  

 

  • Screw Machine Area Manager: Will lead a team of mechanical operators while planning tooling and layouts specific to Davenport multi-spindle screw machines, prioritizing jobs, monitoring production, quality, and personnel, keeping safety a priority while problem solving, and implementing improvements.

 

  • Quality Inspector (1st & 2nd Shifts): Will perform productions inspections throughout the production process, use precision measuring equipment, review paperwork for accuracy, trouble shoot, and communicate within the department and other departments to produce a final product meeting the customer’s specifications. Consistently follows processes and schedules independently, with periodic interaction with manager and others while following our core values of maintaining relationships in a team environment modeling professionalism, interpersonal skills, problem solving, adaptability, and personal value commitment.  

  • 4-Slide Setup/Operator (Pay DOE): The 4-Slide Setup/Operator performs setups, monitors and runs 4-slide and Auto-Clip machines with tooling and material appropriate to the work order while using precision tools to ensure accuracy. Changes coils and performs routine machine maintenance while monitoring quality and inspecting products as required. This position requires the ability to consistently follow processes and schedules independently, with periodic interaction with managers and others. The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented individual who possesses a strong personal value commitment dedicated to professionalism, problem solving, and adaptability. 

  • Tool Design Engineer (Pay DOE): Will design simple and complex progressive and compound dies, provide technical support for Die Makers, Quality department, and CNC departments. Research and support product improvements through die design. Consistently follows processes and schedules independently, with periodic interaction with manager and others while following our core values of maintaining relationships in a team environment modeling professionalism, interpersonal skills, problem solving, adaptability, and personal value commitment. 

  • Tool & Die Maker: Assembles, aligns, and maintains existing tooling used in production dies; retrieves and files all tooling stored in the Die Stack system; troubleshoots and repairs tooling used in production dies; assists Engineering Manager in maintaining “on-time” workflow within the department; machines tooling components as required; heat treats the tool steel; and performs basic form grinding. Consistently follows processes and schedules independently, with periodic interaction with manager and others while following our core values of maintaining relationships in a team environment modeling professionalism, interpersonal skills, problem solving, adaptability, and personal value commitment.  

  • Tool Room Machinist Technician: Will work with the Tooling Department to fabricate tooling needs for the department by meeting quality standards, using precision equipment and accurate interpretation of advanced engineering drawings or blueprints. Consistently follows processes and schedules independently, with periodic interaction with manager and others while following our core values of maintaining relationships in a team environment modeling professionalism, interpersonal skills, problem solving, adaptability, and personal value commitment.
  • CNC Swiss Machine Operator (Pay DOE): Will set-up and operate one or more Swiss style machines, understand G, M, and Queuing codes, and be able to edit CNC programs as needed to maintain compliant and consistent process control for CNC Swiss style machines. The operator will also perform operational adjustments and machine, tooling, and parts inspections. Citizen experience is preferred.  
  • Material Handler - Will move dies between CI assembly and the press floor, while utilizing a forklift as needed to facilitate the movement of heavy material in the production area. The Material Handler will also read blueprints and know the setup and operation of tooling, material, and equipment for production jobs. Job Requirements

  • Must have 2-5 years of manufacturing experience for skilled positions
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
  • Must pass physical and math test. 
  • Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to work for extended hours and work days.
  • Must be careful during work to avoid injury.
  • Must have own transportation to and from job site.

Pay Rate: $15.00-$25.00/hr. Pay Will Depend on Experience and Position

Shifts:  Day Shifts; Monday – Friday Training shift do vary when specified.

Duration: Full Time/Temp-To-Hire
