Gem State Staffing - Payette is now hiring for a dedicated and skilled Lawn Care Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining beautiful landscapes and gardens, ensuring that properties are well-kept and visually appealing. This role involves various tasks related to groundskeeping, landscape maintenance, and lawn care, utilizing both hand tools and power tools to achieve desired results.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing.
• Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees through pruning, weeding, and mulching.
• Operate and maintain various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Irrigate lawns and gardens according to seasonal needs and weather conditions.
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access for clients.
• Ensure all equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
• Communicate with clients regarding their landscaping needs and provide recommendations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred.
• Knowledge of lawn care techniques, some experience with sprinkler systems preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency in using hand tools (e.g., shovels, rakes) and power tools (e.g., lawn mowers, trimmers).
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor tasks.
• Valid driver's license may be required for transportation of equipment.
