Position Overview
Gem State Staffing-Nampa is seeking three dedicated Landscape Construction Laborers for a brand-new client. This role involves hands-on work in outdoor environments, contributing to the creation and maintenance of beautiful landscapes. Candidates must be physically capable, reliable, and able to work 40+ hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform raking and grading to prepare surfaces for landscaping projects.
- Install sod to create lush, healthy lawns.
- Assist with sprinkler installation to ensure proper irrigation systems.
- Lay weed barriers to prevent unwanted plant growth.
- Plant trees and spread bark or mulch to enhance landscape aesthetics.
- Complete additional tasks such as hauling materials, cleaning job sites, and supporting team members as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work sites.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
- Previous experience in landscaping or construction is a plus but not required.
Details
- Full-time position, 40+ hours per week.
- Typically, Mon-Fri with some Saturday scheduling as needed.
- Starting pay $18.50/hr. Rapid pay raises for those with experience.
- Temp-to-hire opportunity with a growing Treasure Valley company.
