Gem State Staffing in Nampa is taking applications for landscape construction workers to work locally at a landscaping and lawn maintenance contractor all around the Treasure Valley.
Job Description:
Candidates will be required to perform the following job duties which include but not limited to: Laying sod, shoveling gravel & dirt, planting trees/plants/bushes, assisting with sprinkler installation and seasonal blowouts and some lawn maintenance. This is a full-time, seasonal position working Monday- Friday.
Compensation: $18.00/hr - $20.00/hr DOE
Requirements:
Qualified applicants will need to possess the following skills and background requirements:
• Ability to be on feet for duration of a shift
• Consistently bend, stoop, and twist
• Lift 50+ pounds consistently, unassisted
• Landscape construction experience preferred, but not required
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK (NO FELONS)
• Must have a valid Idaho drivers license with reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to use lawn care tools for extended periods of time throughout shift
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and potentially holidays

In 10plus years at these locations I’ve worked as a Customer Service Representative, Assistant Manager, and Manager. I specialize in recruiting, onboarding, payroll, employee management among other things. When I’m not at work, I enjoy hanging out with friends, board games, and taking in Boise’s beautiful wild life and landscape with hikes and nature walks. I am a self-proclaimed foodie and a big music and movie connoisseur. My continuing goal is to soon obtain my own store in the Treasure Valley area so I may expand my growth, together with Gem State Staffing.
