Gem State Staffing Nampa is immediately hiring hard working and reliable individuals with Industrial Maintenance experience to work at a local brick manufacturing plant.
Job Description:
• Follow the Safety Program.
o Protect yourself with the proper PPE.
o Be aware of your surroundings at all times.
o Know your equipment.
• Check with Plant Manager at the beginning of each day for changes in mold priority.
• Check each mold for worn parts and make sure all molds are of proper dimensions.
• Check head and shoes for worn parts (replace as needed).
• Align ALL molds in jig.
• While mold is in jig, check agitator grid pins for alignment to core bars.
• While mold and head are in jig, adjust rubber wiper and make sure face plate fits core assemblies.
• Put all mold parts away where they belong.
• Notify Plant Superintendent of any problems with molds or parts.
• Keep all spare parts put away as you take them out.
• Give Machine Operator(s) and/ or Cuber Operator(s) breaks and lunch when needed.
• Notify Plant Superintendent, Maintenance Supervisor and/or Plant Manager of parts needed (needed parts must be written down w/ part numbers if possible).
• Keep all molds in good condition.
• Keep track of Vibrators, their usage, condition, and rebuild as you see fit.
• Promote and maintain all 5S Housekeeping standards.

General Requirements:
• Must have at least 2 years’ experience in Industrial Maintenance
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. frequently
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Ability to remain mobile, bend, twist and stoop
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Commitment to following safety guidelines by promoting safe work habits throughout daily actions
Wage Range: $20.00/hr.
Shift: Day: 7:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday
