We are seeking a dedicated Prep Cook to join a fun dynamic culinary team. The Prep Cook will assist in the preparation of delicious dishes in a fast-paced industrial/warehouse kitchen environment.
*Responsibilities*
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and storing food items for a Frozen food facility
- Assist in cooking and preparing various menu items under the supervision of the Chef
- Follow proper food handling procedures and maintain a clean work area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations at all times
*Skills*
- Math must be a strong background for this position
- Experience in a Industrial/Warehouse kitchen environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Proficiency in using kitchen tools such as knives and food preparation equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team setting
- Familiarity with menu planning and meal preparation techniques
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
