Gem State Staffing is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to maintain the outdoor areas of a storage property. The ideal candidate will perform grounds maintenance such as painting, move materials, light cleaning.

Job Duties:

• Use hand tools and power tools to perform various maintenance tasks
• Keep outdoor areas clean and presentable
• Assist with general groundskeeping tasks as assigned
• Will assist in the office as needed
• Inspect properties for hazards, remedy damage and debris removal
• Handling day to day operations of the facility.
• Provide excellent customer service experience.
• Answering calls and emails in a timely and professional manner.
• Performing daily site checks.
• Collecting and processing payments.
• Perform daily and weekly reports, marketing, surveys, inventory, cleaning and maintenance.
• Property inspections.
• Primary point of contact for contractor and vendor work on site.

Requirements:

• Have previous groundskeeping/maintenance experience
• Ability to repetitively bend, lift, crouch, and stoop as necessary
• Ability to perform labor in any and all weather conditions
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently with little to no supervision
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds as necessary
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background screen
• Must be computer literate
• Have great customer service skills
• Be self-motivated and a team player who works well with others
• Must possess a valid DL and be willing to travel to different properties.
• Ability to work independently
