Gem State Staffing in Burley is seeking General Laborers to perform a variety of tasks within our customers factory and its properties. This is a heavy-duty labor position in an industrial environment
We are seeking a dedicated Laborers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in manufacturing facilities or warehouses and possess mechanical knowledge to perform various tasks.
Essential Job Functions:
· Work rotating 12-hour shifts- 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. or 6:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M.
· Must be available and willing to work weekends and holidays.
· Be able to communicate both orally and in writing.
· Climb stairs and ladders.
· Work in temperature extremes both hot and cold, indoors and outdoors.
· Read and comprehend written instructions including safety procedures, safety signs, schedules, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and manufacturing standards and procedures.
· Be able to use hand tools such as a pitchfork and shovel to clean flumes and rock catchers.
· Move heavy loads using a wheelbarrow.
· Use hand tools and operate valves for systems operation and maintenance.
· Must be able to perform entry level tasks with basic hand tools
· Perform general cleaning operations.
· Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness standards.
· Performs other related duties as required.
- Cleaning floors, must learn Lock out tag out, Firehose cleaning of equipment, must be able to bend/stoop/twist/lift 50-75lbs.
Qualifications:
· Must be 18 years of age.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.36 per hour
