Gem State Staffing is now hiring a Garage Door Installer for the Wood River Valley (Bellevue, Hailey, Ketchum, Sun Valley) area. For this position you will be installing commercial or residential garage doors, so you will be up on tall ladders often, there is a a lot of over head labor, and you do need a basic knowledge of hand and power tools. 

Job Summary: A garage door installer is responsible for the construction and installation of overhead garage doors. In this career, you work with carpentry tools and various materials to install, repair, maintain, or replace doors. A garage door technician is also responsible for documenting work and maintaining inventory.

Requirements:

• Must be clean cut and presentable (you’ll be going working in residential and commercial properties)
• Construction experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects over your head.
• Must have valid drivers license, clean driving record and have your own transportation between job sites.
• Must be able to pass a background check along and a valid drug screen. 
• Must be able to pay attention to details. 
• Must have transportation to and from work. 
• Must be able to bend, twist, crouch and stoop frequently over the course of a day. 
• Ability to be on feet for duration of a shift. 
• Familiarity with hand tools and able to read a tape measure.
• Maintenance experience preferred-solid construction background is also acceptable
