Responsibilities:

1. Sorting and Grading: Inspect and sort potatoes based on quality and size, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

2. Packaging: Assist in the packaging process, including operating machinery, labeling, and palletizing finished products.

3. Cleaning and Maintenance: Keep work areas clean and organized. Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently.

4. Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload potatoes and other materials from trucks, maintaining a focus on workplace safety.

5. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a positive working environment.

6. Quality Control: Monitor and report any issues related to product quality, machinery malfunctions, or safety hazards.

Requirements:

· Previous experience in a manufacturing or processing environment is a plus but not mandatory.

· Ability to stand, bend, stoop, grasp for extended periods of time and perform physically demanding tasks.

· Basic understanding of safety procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

· Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions in English.

· Flexibility to work all scheduled shifts.

· Must be smoke and vape free – No smoking, vaping or chewing allowed on property.

· Must be able to pass a Drug Test including THC.

Details:

• Shifts are 12hrs, 6-6
• Pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check required.
• 30 working day temp-to-hire opportunity
• Alternating 3 and 4 day working schedule. Example: Mon-Tues, Fri-Sat; then Sun, Wed-Thur. Repeat.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary:$18.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on position, schedule and experience

Expected hours: 36 – 48 per week, alternating
