Gem State Staffing is seeking a skilled Farm Mechanic for a full-time position on a working farm in Gooding, Idaho. The ideal candidate will have experience working with irrigation systems, pivot maintenance, and basic mechanical repairs. Key Responsibilities:

• Change and repair tires on pivot irrigation systems
• Replace and install drop hoses and irrigation components
• Clean, inspect, and maintain nozzles and filters
• Perform general maintenance on farm equipment and machinery
• Diagnose minor issues and complete basic repairs
• Follow safety procedures and work independently in outdoor conditions

Qualifications:

• Previous mechanical experience, preferably in agriculture or irrigation
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs)
• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Comfortable working in warm or cold conditions
• Must pass a drug screen and background check
• No felony convictions in the past 10 years
• Must be flexible for overtime, rotating weekends, and holidays

Job Type:

• Full-Time
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Temporary to long-term opportunity
