Gem State Staffing - Rexburg seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join a fun and outgoing team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems and equipment within our facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including HVAC system inspections, filter changes, and equipment lubrication

- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, switches, and lighting fixtures

- Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems, identify issues, and perform necessary repairs

- Maintain and repair mechanical equipment, such as motors, pumps, and compressors

- Monitor and maintain the building's security systems, including alarms and access control

- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations

- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)

- Respond to facility emergencies and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment

Experience:

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including the ability to read schematics and troubleshoot issues

- Experience with welding and fabrication techniques

- Proficiency in English language (verbal and written)

- Leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team when necessary

- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)

- Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair various equipment

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
