Job Summary

Gem State Staffing is hiring a Food Manufacturing Assembly Line Worker to join our production team in Rexburg, ID. In this role, you will work on the assembly line preparing, assembling, and packaging food products while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Ideal candidates are reliable, mechanically inclined, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble food products according to specifications and instructions
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and efficiently
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure food items meet company standards
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace following safety and sanitation guidelines
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or safety issues to supervisors
• Assist with basic fabrication and machine setup when necessary
• Support and help train new team members on production line procedures

Qualifications

• Previous experience in assembly line, food production, or manufacturing is preferred
• Basic mechanical knowledge and comfort using tools and equipment
• Forklift operation experience is a plus (certification may be provided)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Able to work independently or in a team in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
