Gem State Staffing-Caldwell is now accepting candidates for a full-time, temp-to-hire Excavation Laborer for a local excavation company located in Caldwell, ID. We “dig” you and your skills! This is a year-round, full-time position.

Job Description

Our client is a locally owned and operated excavation company. They are seeking a full-time laborer to join their team. This position will focus on a variety of tasks: little crawl space work, laying pipe, sprinkler and minor plumbing repair, drive company vehicle when needed and of course (you guessed it) excavation labor. Ideal candidate will be seeking an experienced excavation labor position, working mainly outdoors with opportunity for growth. Our client is seeking an individual capable of assisting in these excavation operations, with minimal on-the-job training. Unearth your potential!

Requirements

• Assist with excavation tasks like trenching, digging, and hauling materials
• Lay pipe for various purposes
• Help with minor plumbing repairs, including potential crawl space work
• Perform sprinkler repairs
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite
• Load and unload materials and equipment
• Operate company vehicles to transport materials and parts (valid driver's license with clean record required)
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures
• Experience in excavation work
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Backhoe excavator experience
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labor tasks

Details

• Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm but will vary if needed
• Starting pay rate: $18.00/hr+ DOE
• Weekly payroll schedule, every Friday for last week’s hours
