Gem State Staffing is hiring for Estimator for local Steel Fabrication company. Duties include estimating off drawings and renderings of steel fabrication/re-bar projects, preparing bids, communicating with customers and vendors. Will read and interpret all documents associated with preparing a bid package for customers and be involved in the bidding processes from start to finish.

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years structural steel estimating experience required.
• Must have strong communication and computer skills.
• Working knowledge of structural steel fabrication is preferred.
• Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background investigation.
• Experience in reading and interpreting all documents associated with preparing a bid package for customers.
• Proficient computer and Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to perform basic administrative functions such as filing, faxing, emailing, payment processing etc.
• Manage time appropriately and be detail oriented.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Pay: Salary Commensurate with experience. Will be discuss at interview
