We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to support the operation of our grain handling and processing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of grain elevators, conveyors, dryers, and related machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on grain handling equipment including bucket elevators, augers, conveyors, gearboxes, dryers, fans, and motors.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.

• Monitor equipment performance and proactively identify issues to reduce downtime.

• Maintain and repair facility infrastructure including bins, legs, catwalks, and spouting systems.

• Use tools such as welders, cutting torches, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment.

• Assist with installation or upgrading of equipment and plant systems.

• Maintain maintenance logs and ensure documentation is completed accurately.

• Comply with OSHA and facility safety regulations, including confined space and lockout/tagout procedures.

• Work at heights and in dusty, noisy environments as required.

• Participate in seasonal shutdowns, inspections, and special projects.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; technical school training preferred.

• 1yr mechanical maintenance experience in an agricultural, grain, or industrial setting.

• Working knowledge of grain handling and processing systems.

• Basic understanding of electrical troubleshooting (motors, relays, sensors, etc.).

• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working outdoors in all weather.

• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends
