Gem State Staffing is now hiring a full-time Counter Sales / Customer Service Representative for a well-established business in Jerome, ID. Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service at the sales counter and over the phone
• Assist customers with product selection, order entry, and general inquiries
• Accurately process transactions and handle basic invoicing
• Use Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) to manage daily tasks
• Support inventory organization, restocking, and occasional warehouse duties
• Maintain a clean and organized sales area
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to meet customer needs
• Assist walk-in retail customers with purchases and routine business questions

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in sales or customer service (preferred)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and manage time effectively
• Must be computer literate and comfortable with Microsoft Office programs
• Clean background check required
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, stooping)
• Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a challenging environment
• Professional demeanor with a proactive and positive attitude
• Able to process transactions for walk-in sales

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Occasional Saturdays may be required
• Full-time hours

Pay & Benefits:

• $35,000 – $40,000 annually, depending on experience
• Temp-to-hire with long-term career potential
