Gem State Staffing - Idaho Falls is seeking a skilled Conveyor Belt Technician to join a fun team. As a Conveyor Belt Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of conveyor belt systems. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and expertise in electrical systems. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Install, maintain, and repair conveyor belt systems
- Perform routine inspections to identify any potential issues or malfunctions
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with conveyor belts and related equipment
- Replace or repair damaged components such as belts, motors, pulleys, and bearings
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of conveyor belt systems
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Experience working with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
- Familiarity with high voltage electrical systems
- Knowledge of hydraulics and low voltage electrical systems
- Excellent customer service skills
- Previous experience as an industrial electrician or in industrial maintenance is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Proficient in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues
