Gem State Staffing in Nampa is accepting applications for experience concrete laborers to do a variety of jobs in the Treasure Valley area.

Job Description

Concrete Laborers are needed for long-term jobs doing a wide variety of skilled and unskilled labor assignments including setting up concrete walls, setting forms and tying rebar. Successful candidates will also assist in all aspects of the concrete construction process including but not limited to;

• Digging and prepping dirt to ensure proper dimensions and compaction for a successful pour
• Building and striping concrete forms
• Mixing gravel aggregate, cement and water to proper consistency
• Hauling wet concrete and pouring into form areas before mixture begins to set
• Perform various duties assigned by site supervisor

Requirements

Qualified applicants will need to possess the following skills and background:

• Experience with general construction tools pertaining to the job description like hammers, tape measures, shovels and wheel barrows
• Ability to be on feet for duration of shift
• Consistently bend, stoop, and twist
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work
• Lift 50+ pounds consistently, unassisted

Compensation: $18/hr
