Job Description

Gem State Staffing is seeking a reliable Class A CDL Truck Driver for a full time position in Hansen. Will haul cord seed in the Magic Valley, Treasure Valley and Mini Cassia areas.  

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Have a valid commercial driver's license Class A (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience in Air Brakes is preferred.
  • Have a current Medical Card.
  • Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Ability to navigate using GPS systems or maps.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to follow directions accurately.
  • Strong physical stamina to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road.
  • Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
  • Gave a High School diploma or GED.
  • Have basic math, reading, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to operate a 53 foot long trailer.
  • Able to bend, stood, kneel and reach with hands and arms when needed.
  • Able to lift up-to 100 pounds. 
  • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions and extreme temperatures.
  • Pass a Pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Be reliable and good attendance.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
