Gem State Staffing is accepting applications for several open positions with a local Cheese Processing plant for full-time, temporary-to-permanent production laborer positions in Gooding or Richfield.

Gooding Positions & Pay Rates:

• Cheese Packager - Day shift $19.00/hour or Night shift, $20.50/hour
• Dryer Operator - No fit tested, very hot environment and climbing stairs required. Day shift $19.00/hour
• Powder Blend Operator - $19.00/hour Day Shift or $20.50/hour Night Shift
• Warehouse B Operator - Must be able to train on days then move to nights, Night shift $20.20/hour
• Whey Packager -$19.00/hour Day shift or $20.50/hour Night shift  
• Maintenance Parts Attendant – Day Shift - $19.00/hour – temporary assignment until April 2025 *Resume Required*

Richfield Positions & Pay Rates:

• Whey Packaging - Night shift; $20.50/hr. Thursday - Saturday, E/O Wednesday from 7am- 7pm (back of the week)
• Whey Packaging- Night shift; $20.50/hr. Sunday-Tuesday, E/O Wednesday from 7pm- 7am (front of the week)
• Whey Packager - Day shift; $19.00/hr. Thursday - Saturday, E/O Wednesday from 7am-7pm (back of the week)
• Whey Packager Day shift; $19.00/hr. Sunday - Tuesday, E.O Wednesday from 7am- 7pm (front of the week)

 ***EARN UP $500 BONUS***This will be paid in two lump sum payments on the scheduled pay date following 168 hours ($200.00) and 336 hours ($300.00) of successful employment and you are in good standing.

Job Duties:

• Sanitize machinery
• Run towers in manual and auto mode
• Perform accurate inventory of cheese bags
• Break down Tower during CIP
• Understanding of chemicals and their uses
• Proper cleaning of block conveyor lines
• Re-bag cheese if necessary
• Proper GMP in ready to eat area
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Package up to 50lbs of cheese

Requirements:

• Be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb.
• Adhere to company attendance standards.
• Comply with company safety policies and regulations.
• Qualified applicant should have no felonies in the last 10 years.
• Available to work overtime, weekends & potentially holidays as needed.
• Previous food processing/production or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., unassisted.
• Must be able to be on your feet an entire 12-hour work shift.

Work schedule: Days or Night shift available. Training shift do vary when specified.

Pay Wage: $16.00-$20.50/hr. Pay Will Depend on Shift and Position
