Gem State Staffing is now accepting applications for a CNC Operators Tech for a full time, temp-to-hire position in Twin Falls.

• CNC Senior Programmer (Salary $75k): Program CNC lathes and mills utilizing Mastercam for new products, fixtures, and tooling. Also responsible for building and maintaining relationships in a team environment modeling professionalism, inter personal skills, problem solving, adaptability, and personal value commitment.
• CNC Setup Lathe (Starts at $25/hr.): Perform program editing for CNC lathe. Also responsible for building and maintaining relationships in a team environment modeling professionalism, inter personal skills, problem solving, adaptability, and personal value commitment.
• CNC Setup Mill (Starts at $25/hr.): Read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings. Knowledgeable of machining tools and procedures. Load parts into the appropriate machinery, using the best available tooling methods. Understand speeds and feeds, tooling, programs, and operation sequences. Use machine controls to cycle machine through; production operations, set up, adjusting tool positions, and changing tools. Also, review machine operating criteria such as cycle time and spindle rpm.
• CNC Manager (Salary DOE): The Machining Manager will work in a team environment, prioritizing jobs, supervising production, monitoring personnel, keeping safety a priority while problem solving, and implementing improvements. 

• Have minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC. 
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
• Must pass physical and math test.
• Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work for extended hours and work days.
• Must be careful during work to avoid injury.
• Must have own transportation to and from job site
• Ability to work well in a team
• Ability to work long hours, as necessary
• Ability to repetitively bend, twist, crouch, and stoop for extended periods
• Ability to work safely within the established safety program
• Possess a valid driver’s license and own transportation to and from work
• Excellent mechanical aptitude.
• Associate/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in machining.
• Experience and knowledge required in programming, setup and operating lathes and mills.
• The ability to read, write and speak the English language with comprehension skills sufficient to understand safety standards and job performance expectations

Location: Twin Falls

Shift: Day Shift, Monday- Friday

Duration: Long term, permanent position
