Gem State Staffing is looking for full time Class A or B CDL Drivers for a full-time position!

CDL Driver Job Duties:

• Candidates must efficiently and safely operate commercial trucks, trailers, including transports in excess of 16000 pounds.
• Hauling material according to asphalt production cycling methods is the main responsibility for this position.
• Candidates must also perform construction-related services needed for project completion when not operating vehicle or machinery, which includes physical labor when needed.
• There are physical demands with this position that include receptive arm and wrist movements, lifting and moving shovels filled with approx. 20 lbs of material, standing for long periods of time and extreme weather conditions such as summer heat, winter cold and wind.
• Arriving consistently on time, being prepared for the entire day with food, water, clothing and personal items depending on weather conditions is a must.

**All Candidates will be laborers on all jobs in addition to other skillsets with no exceptions. There are physical demands that include repetitive arm and wrist movements lifting and moving shovels filled with approximately 20lbs of material, standing for long periods of time and extreme weather conditions such as summer heat. **

Requirements:

• Must have CDL license and medical card.
• Able to drive a manual transmission.
• Must be able to pass a DOT drug test.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Ability to work long shifts with constant bending, stooping, and twisting.
• Highly motivated individual with a punctual and dependable can-do-attitude.
• Able to work overtime, hours range from 5am to 7pm.
• Able to work in extreme weather conditions such as summer heat.
• Arrive on time at the shop, be prepared for the entire day with food, water, clothing, durable boots and personal items depending on weather conditions is must.
• All Candidates must adhere to random drug testing policy during employment.

Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 5:00am to 7:00pm. Times vary with project.

Pay Wage: Pay depends on experience, applicants will be interviewed by customer for wage compensation. $20.00-22.00/hr. Overtime is mandatory.
