Gem State Staffing is taking applications for an experienced Accounting Clerk for a full-time, permanent position in Twin Falls. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible to perform accounting support functions in accordance with standard procedures in one or more of the following areas: general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a related financial area.

Knowledge and Qualifications:

• Performs basic accounting duties.
• Ensures data is entered accurately and processed in a timely manner.
• Invoice creation, ensuring the proper invoice terms, dates, and products.
• Distributes information to applicable managers and/or assistant controller in a timely manner.
• Invoice auditing and review, including invoices created by other team members.
• Maintain an organized and efficient workspace to manage paperwork.
• Support other members of the accounting department, including filing, scanning, and mailing.
• Associates degree in Business/Accounting or related field preferred comparable work experience will be considered.
• The successful candidate will possess a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and be able to manipulate data to assist management in accurately analyzing information across various platforms .
• Excellent communication skills, and attention to detail are crucial.
