Gem State Staffing is hiring a full-time Installation/Service Technician in Jerome, ID. This is a temp-to-hire position with competitive pay and great training opportunities. You will work on installing and servicing fans, ventilation systems, LED lighting, sliding window panels, man doors, PVC interior paneling, steel siding/roofing, and rubber flooring.

No experience? No problem! We are willing to train the right candidate with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Install and service ventilation fans, LED lighting, window panels, doors, paneling, steel siding, roofing, and rubber flooring
• Read and interpret diagrams, schematics, and installation manuals
• Use hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, tin snips), power tools (drills, grinders, saws), welders, ladders, lifts, telehandlers, and other equipment
• Follow safety procedures and company standards
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality

Requirements:

• Have a good attitude and willingness/ ability to learn.
• Reading and interpreting diagrams, schematics, manuals and can follow installation procedures.
• Ability/ experience in the proper use of Service and Installation equipment such as Tape Measure, hand tools (Sockets, Wrenches, Tin Sips, Screw Drivers etc.), power tools (Drill, Hammer Drill, Impact Driver, Hand Grinders, Saws, etc.), welders, ladders, lifts, telehandler, and other rolling stock.
• Must have valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Must be physically fit to lift and climb.
• This position requires being fluent in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
• Must pass a drug test, and be subject to random drug testing as employment continues.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site everyday.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, walk, twist at the waist, lift and extend overhead.
• Must be able to lift minimum of 75 lbs. unassisted.

• Competitive hourly pay: $17.00 - $20.00
