Gem State Staffing in Twin Falls is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Office/Accounting Assistant to support a growing HR team for our client in Jerome, Idaho. This is a great opportunity to build your career in human resources, recruiting, and office administration.

Responsibilities:

• Post job openings on job boards and social media platforms
• Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and coordinate logistics with hiring managers
• Conduct initial phone interviews with candidates
• Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) with up-to-date candidate records
• Prepare onboarding materials and ensure completion of new hire paperwork
• Assist with recruiting events, job fairs, and community outreach
• Provide general administrative support to the HR department
• Respond to employee and candidate inquiries in a professional manner
• Stay current on HR and recruiting trends and best practices

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required; degree in HR or Business preferred
• Previous HR or administrative experience is a plus, but not required
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
