Gem State Staffing - Rexburg and Idaho Falls are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Process Worker for an established company. As a Process Worker, you will be responsible for performing various tasks in a food processing environment. This is a great opportunity to work in the food industry and contribute to the production of high-quality products.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Operate and monitor production equipment according to standard operating procedures
- Follow FDA regulations and maintain compliance with food safety standards
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications
- Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety
- Safely operate a forklift to transport materials and products
Experience:
- Previous experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment is preferred
- Knowledge of CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Familiarity with mechanical equipment and ability to perform basic troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret production schedules and follow instructions accurately
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating quantities
- Understanding of food safety principles and practices
- Ability to fabricate or assemble components as needed

Prior to joining Gem State Staffing in 2019 she spent 18 years as a General Manager of a exotic pet food manufacturing company.  Tina is a powerful force in the workplace and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed.  Tina is inspired daily by her husband of 23 years, their 2 adult children and 7 grandchildren.  In her free time, Tina likes to attend to their small herd of cattle, spend time with her grandchildren and camp the great outdoors of Idaho.
