Job Description

    Our local client is seeking a dedicated and passionate Rider to join their irrigation district. Ditch riders will maintain the assigned area of the canal system during the irrigation season including monitoring water delivery, burning ditches, and weed control. Familiar with the Burley-Declo area.

DUTIES:

  • Assist with offseason maintenance of canals, facilities, and equipment .
  • Familiar with Burley- Declo area.
  • Will assist with offseason maintenance of canals, facilities, and equipment as needed.
  • Maintaining area of the canal system during the irrigation season March - October as well of monitoring water delivery, burning ditches, and weed control.

Qualifications:

  • Self-starter, punctual, honest, and hardworking and reliable.
  • Must be detail-oriented, patient, reliable, and possess good communication skills.
  • High School graduate or completed GED.
  • Possess a valid drivers license and have a clean driving record.
  • Successfully complete pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • Must be able to perform physically-demanding labor as needed.
  • Must have basic computer Knowledge.
  • Must be reliable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.31 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Burley, ID 83318: Relocate before starting work (Required)
