Candidates will utilize engineering blueprints to produce machined parts using manual and CNC Milling and turning centers. This position pays between $18.00/hr. to $20.00/hr. depending on experience with a work week of Monday thru Friday and is a temp-to-hire position.
Qualified applicants will need to possess the following skills and background requirements:
· Able to read blueprints and have a working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
· Must be competent in shop math, including algebra and trigonometry
· Experience machining stainless steels and plastics a plus
· Technical degree preferred or equivalent experience
· Ability to work and contribute within a team
· Surface grinding experience in a production environment a MUST
· MUST be able to read calipers
· Read and perform measurements with tape measures, micrometers, depth gauges and calipers
· Have knowledge of set-up, clean-up and wheel dressing
· Pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
· Have own reliable transportation to and from work
